Setting up spam filtering with Netscape Mail 4
Go to the 'Edit' menu, and select the 'Message Filters' option. A new window will open.
Press the 'New' button on the newly opened window - another window will appear.
Type the word 'SPAM in the 'Filter name' box, then press the 'Advanced' button. An new window will open.
In the 'New message header' box, type 'X-Spam-Flag', press 'Add', the press 'OK' to close the window.
In the window you are taken back to, press the 'Subject' drop down box, and select the 'X-SPam-Flag' option. In the text box to the right, enter the word 'YES'.
Press the 'New folder' button, and a new window will appear. In the 'Name' box, type the word 'SPAM', and press 'OK'.
Press 'OK on the next window, and you will be taken backto the main mail window. You can now continue to use your email as usual, with a new folder called 'SPAM' in your folder listing where 'possible spam' messages will be filtered into.
